EAGLE BRIDGE, NY – After a weekend that resulted in a tough finish, Chad Pierce and the CP Racing team rebounded very well with a solid ninth place finish Saturday night at Lebanon Valley
Pierce started the feature event in fifth position and kept his #83 H. Sausville Construction PMC in the top 10 for the entire 24-lap 358-Modified main event.
“This was a great way to come back after our problems last week,” Pierce said. “The car was pretty good tonight and this really helps our confidence as we look to get back to victory lane.”
The ninth place last weekend was the third top 10 finish of 2017 for the former Valley track champion. Momentum is the name of the game these days for Pierce and the entire team is working hard to help make top 10’s a regular thing.
“My crew is giving me everything they can to get us to victory lane,” Chad said. “They work hard in the shop. They work hard in the heat at the track. I hope we can get on a roll so that the results resemble their effort and dedication.”
Chad is now in twelfth position in the 358-Modified point standings at Lebanon Valley, just 15 points behind Timothy Davis and Frank Hoard who are tied for the tenth position.
This week, the 358-Modifieds are off the schedule at Lebnaon Valley. The next event on the CP Racing schedule will be Saturday night, July 1st at the “Valley of Speed” when Berkshire Bank presents a great night of racing action and a huge fireworks display. Gates open at 5pm.
